A Journey to Energy Healing: Reece's Story

The journey began with a simple, almost magical discovery—a childhood moment in the mud. Reece was only five, playing in the yard while his father worked nearby, when his fingers found something hard beneath the soil. Pulling it free, he discovered an authentic Indiana arrowhead. Proud, he did what any child would do: brought it inside and placed it on his bedroom shelf, unaware that this little find would mark the start of a lifelong connection to the unseen.

Not long after, strange things began to happen around the house. Doors opened and closed on their own, objects shifted, and shadows seemed to follow him from room to room and even to school. Then came something stranger, a glow around people, plants, and animals, soft and colorful, that no one else could see. This glow came with a tingling sensation in his hands, and before long, Reece learned he could bring back that feeling on command. Experimenting, he found he could move the energy within his hands, forming it, shaping it, even meditating with it. When he did, he traveled to places he’d never seen but somehow felt deeply familiar.

By twelve, Reece had an experience that would forever deepen his understanding of life and spirit. After his great-grandmother passed, he quietly asked for a sign that she was still with him. As he sat in the pew at her funeral, one of the candles began to flicker, leaning toward him as though in response. Then, in the flame, a golden finger appeared, becoming a hand, an arm, and then the young, glowing image of his great-grandmother. Their eyes met, and she smiled, a presence warm and comforting. Then, as softly as she had come, she faded away. That moment stayed with him, a reminder that some connections are never broken.

Throughout high school, Reece continued to work with his energy, learning to ease headaches, relieve muscle aches, and calm himself in stressful moments. Soon, he was helping friends and family do the same. His sense of energy deepened, and he discovered he could sense and guide others' energies, aiming to help them find balance and relief just as he had. And along the way, there were visits from loved ones who had passed, seeking to share messages with family members. Every encounter seemed to peel back another layer of understanding, of how energy connects and unites us all.

In 2023, Reece decided to become a certified Reiki Master, adding a framework to what had long been his passion. The decision wasn’t just about certification—it was about learning a widely recognized way to share energy healing with others in a form they could understand. Since then, he’s spent countless hours with his great aunt, a cancer survivor and someone close to his heart who has scoliosis. Working with her helped Reece develop new ways to ease pain, discovering how energy healing could touch on mental health, foster self-discovery, and guide people in connecting deeply with themselves.

Now, as the founder of Energy Works LLC, Reece shares what he’s learned with clients seeking more than just relief—they come for connection, healing, and a space to explore what lies beyond the everyday. With every session, he brings a lifetime of experiences and a profound respect for the healing energy he’s worked with since childhood.
